Marvin R. DeVries, M.Eng., P.Eng.
Marvin is the President of Trojan Technologies. Under his leadership, the Trojan business has grown at > 12.0% CAGR since 2003.
Prior to joining Trojan in 1988, Marvin worked on several infrastructure projects in Bangladesh, India and Haiti. He holds a B.Sc. Eng. in Hydrological Engineering from the University of Guelph, and a Masters in Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. He’s a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Water Environment Federation (WEF).
Marvin also serves on the Board of Directors of the London Economic Development Corporation.
Trevor J.L. Noye, C.A.
Senior Vice President, Trojan & General Manager, Municipal Businesses
Trevor joined Trojan in 2000 as Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Improvement, and then was appointed to the role of Vice President, Operations in 2004 and named Chief Financial Officer in 2011.
In 2015 he was named a Trojan Senior Vice President & General Manager for Trojan’s municipal businesses. Trevor has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Trojan he spent five years in senior roles throughout the financial services industry as well as five years in public accounting.
Christian Williamson, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Trojan, Vice President Global Market Strategies & General Manager, Trojan Marinex
Christian is Trojan’s Vice President of Global Market Strategies. He leads a team responsible for business development, core strategic product initiatives and marketing communications. He was also named Senior Vice President of Trojan Technologies and General Manager of Trojan Marinex in 2015.
Christian joined Trojan in 2001, through Trojan’s acquisition of Advanced UV Solutions (AUVS) – a company specializing in the optimization of water treatment systems designed to remove micro-pollutants using UV light.
Prior to his current role, he was the Managing Director of Trojan’s Environmental Contaminant Treatment business unit. He holds an engineering degree and doctorate in Hydrology from the University of Arizona.
Jeffrey S. Kafka, B.Sc, LLB
General Counsel and Secretary
Jeff is General Counsel and Secretary at Trojan. He has been providing legal counsel to Trojan since 1983, and officially became a Trojan associate in 2000.
Prior to joining Trojan, Jeff practiced corporate and securities law; was a partner in a Canadian national law firm; and was a Senior Vice President at a software company.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Laws degree, and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Kathy Davis, HBMath
Vice President, Corporate Services
Kathy is Trojan’s Vice President, Corporate Services. She provides strategic and operational leadership for various departments, including Information Technology, Human Resources and Corporate Training.
Prior to joining Trojan, Kathy held several IT leadership roles in the financial services industry. She is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree.
Wesley D. From, M.A.Sc., P.Eng.
Vice President, Engineering
Wes joined Trojan in 2001 as Manager of Mechanical Engineering. He was appointed to his current role of Vice President, Engineering in 2004.
In this role he has led the development of many industry-defining products and technologies. He is also credited for expanding Trojan’s engineering footprint from a single location to a network of development centers throughout the world. Before joining Trojan, Wes was involved in technology development for medical ultrasound and rehabilitation equipment.
He is licensed as a Professional Engineer and has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in Biomedical Robotics from the University of Toronto.
Ted Mao, Ph.D., P.Eng.
Vice President, Research
Ted has been with Trojan since 1998, and is currently the Vice President, Research. He has led the formation of a world-class research team, helped to develop innovative water treatment technologies and successfully built a global network of external collaboration partners. Prior to joining Trojan, Ted held leadership and technical positions at ABB and RWDI Inc. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Institute of Chemical Technologies, and Master and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Toronto. He is a Professional Engineer and an adjunct professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto.
Andrew McLeland, MBA
Vice President of Operations
Andrew joined Trojan in 2013 as Vice President of Operations. In this role he provides strategic and operational leadership and drives manufacturing operations excellence with respect to environmental, health & safety, product quality and logistics.
Prior to joining Trojan, Andrew helped facilitate business integration and new acquisitions at Danaher, was Vice President of Operations for Hennessy Industries, and Engineering Manager for Jacobs Chuck. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Clemson University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Darla Moore International School of Business at The University of South Carolina.
Jennifer Muller, P.Eng.
Vice President, Global Municipal Sales
Jennifer joined Trojan in 1997. Since then she has held roles within Municipal Sales and Global Market Strategies.
She was appointed to Director of UV Markets in 2008 and then to Vice President, Global Municipal Sales in 2012. Jennifer has worked with consultants, regulators and municipalities around the world to design and incorporate UV disinfection into their facilities – including high profile installations such as New York City’s Catskill-Delaware drinking water plant. She is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelors of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Jo Anne Van Hooydonk, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Jo Anne joined Trojan in 2013 as a Senior Compliance Controller and was responsible for implementing numerous new programs and consolidation process improvements, and providing oversight and assistance to operating companies with compliance and accounting issues. Prior to joining Trojan, Jo Anne was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, LLP for 15 years in their assurance and advisory practices working with public and private clients in a variety of industries.
Jo Anne has a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and is a chartered professional accountant.
Thomas J. Walkosak, B.S. Chem Eng.
Vice President, Trojan Technologies / General Manager, US Peroxide, LLC
Tom is the General Manager of US Peroxide (USP). He helped lead the company’s integration into Trojan in 2004. Since the acquisition, USP has grown at double-digit CAGR.
Prior to joining USP, Tom held a series of positions in manufacturing, marketing and business management at FMC Corporation (a leading global producer of hydrogen peroxide) and other specialty and industrial chemicals headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.
He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and also attended The Executive Program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
Frank Profiti, HBA
General Manager, VIQUA
Frank is Managing Director of VIQUA (Trojan’s residential UV business). He has significant experience in consumer markets, and as a member of the leadership team at Trojan, Frank plays an important role in the development of strong continued growth of the VIQUA business.
Before joining Trojan, Frank was the General Manager of Grohe Canada Inc., where he was responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of all Canadian sales, marketing operations and customer service. Frank graduated from the University of Toronto with an HBA in Economics.
Thom Voll, MBA
General Manager, Aquafine
Thom is the General Manager at Aquafine Corporation, leading an organization that has been a UV disinfection leader in the industrial market since 1949.
Thom comes to Trojan Technologies from Hach Company, another Danaher business, where he was a Global Business Unit Director for Laboratory Products. Prior to that Thom was the Vice President of Marketing at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Previous to various roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, he led aggressive growth at Millipore Corporation.
He has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Chemistry/Biology from Southern Connecticut State University.
