Stephen Bell, M.Sc.Eng., MBA
President, Trojan Technologies
Stephen was appointed President of Trojan Technologies in March 2018, after having held the position of President of Aquafine Corporation and serving as President, McCrometer Inc. for two years.
Prior to these appointments, he held various positions of increasing responsibility at Hach Company in the Municipal and Industrial sectors, including Product Line Manager, Business Development Director and EU Service Director, joining Danaher in late 2006.
Stephen has also held several positions in management consulting with Accenture and product development with a Nestle/Danone FMCG Joint Venture.
He holds a Master in Engineering Science from the University of Durham, England, and an MBA from IMD International in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Christian Williamson, Ph.D.
Senior Vice-President, Trojan, Business Units & General Manager, Trojan Marinex
Christian leads the Business Unit function in Trojan responsible for the strategic development and ongoing support of our product and service offerings across all of Trojan’s businesses.
Christian joined Trojan in 2001, through Trojan’s acquisition of Advanced UV Solutions (AUVS) – a company specializing in the optimization of water treatment systems designed to remove micro-pollutants using UV light.
Prior to his current role, he was the Managing Director of Trojan’s Environmental Contaminant Treatment business unit. He holds an engineering degree and doctorate in Hydrology from the University of Arizona.
Trevor J.L. Noye, C.A.
Global Vice-President of Operations
Trevor joined Trojan in 2000 as Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Improvement. He was appointed to the role of Vice President, Operations in 2004, named Chief Financial Officer in 2011, then, in 2015, Senior Vice-President & General Manager for Trojan’s municipal businesses. As of January 2017, he has taken on the role of Global Vice-President of Operations across all Trojan businesses.
Trevor has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Trojan he spent five years in senior roles throughout the financial services industry as well as five years in public accounting.
Juan Pablo Biermayr, MBA
Vice-President, Sales and Service
Juan Pablo joined Trojan in February 2018 as Vice-President Sales and Service, providing leadership to the global Municipal Sales and Service team including Municipal Projects, Small Systems and Aftermarket Parts Sales. He also provides overall leadership for the Global Service organization, providing service support to over 10,000 customers in over 100 countries in six continents.
Prior to joining Trojan, Juan Pablo held the position of Senior Sales Director, South Europe for Hach. Before joining Hach, he held different responsibilities at Microscan, Honeywell and DuPont.
Juan Pablo speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian, and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina and an MBA from Roehampton University in the UK.
Kathy Davis, HBMath
Vice-President, Corporate Services
Kathy is Trojan’s Vice-President, Corporate Services. She provides strategic and operational leadership for various departments, including Information Technology, Human Resources and Corporate Training.
Prior to joining Trojan, Kathy held several IT leadership roles in the financial services industry. She is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree.
Wesley D. From, M.A.Sc., P.Eng.
Vice-President, Research and Development
Wes joined Trojan in 2001 as Manager of Mechanical Engineering. He was appointed as Vice-President, Engineering in 2004 and to his current role of Vice-President, Research and Development in 2018.
In this role he has led the development of many industry-defining products and technologies. He is also credited for expanding Trojan’s engineering footprint from a single location to a network of development centers throughout the world. Before joining Trojan, Wes was involved in technology development for medical ultrasound and rehabilitation equipment.
He is licensed as a Professional Engineer and has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in Biomedical Robotics from the University of Toronto.
Jo Anne Van Hooydonk, CPA, CA
Vice-President, Trojan Technologies, Chief Financial Officer
Jo Anne joined Trojan in 2013 as a Senior Compliance Controller and was responsible for implementing numerous new programs and consolidation process improvements, and providing oversight and assistance to operating companies with compliance and accounting issues. Prior to joining Trojan, Jo Anne was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, LLP in their assurance and advisory practices, working with public and private clients in a variety of industries.
Jo Anne has a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and is a chartered professional accountant.
Adam Pierson, MBA
Vice-President, Trojan Technologies, General Manager, VIQUA
Adam joined Trojan in 2017 as the General Manager of VIQUA, providing leadership to all areas of Trojan’s consumer water treatment business.
Before joining Trojan, he worked at Hach as the Director of the Hach ETS Business Unit since joining Danaher in 2015. Prior to working at Danaher, Adam held several senior Strategy and Product Development roles at the University of Notre Dame, Brunswick Corporation, and Booz Allen Hamilton. He also served in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University.
Thomas J. Walkosak, B.S. Chem Eng.
Vice-President, Trojan Technologies, General Manager, USP Technologies
Tom is the General Manager of USP Technologies. He helped lead the company’s integration into Trojan in 2004. Since the acquisition, USP has grown at double-digit CAGR.
Prior to joining USP Technologies, Tom held a series of positions in manufacturing, marketing and business management at FMC Corporation (a leading global producer of hydrogen peroxide and other specialty and industrial chemicals) headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.
He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and also attended The Executive Program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
