Tom Siller, President

Tom Siller

President

Tom was appointed President of Trojan Technologies in August 2022 where he will lead the strategic direction of the global organization.

Tom was most recently the General Manager of USP Technologies, which is an Operating Company within the Water Platform. Tom joined Danaher in 2011 as the Vertical Market Manager for Hach and held multiple roles at Hach of increasing responsibility including Sr. Global Product Manager, Business Unit Manager, Business Unit Director, and Sr. Business Unit Director.

Tom earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University.

Jo Anne Van Hooydonk, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Vice President, Finance and IT, CFO

Jo Anne joined Trojan in 2013 as a Senior Compliance Controller and was responsible for implementing numerous new programs and consolidation process improvements, and providing oversight and assistance to operating companies with compliance and accounting issues. Prior to joining Trojan, Jo Anne was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, LLP in their assurance and advisory practices, working with public and private clients in a variety of industries.

Jo Anne has a bachelor’s degree in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Daniel Benitez

General Manager, Pall Water

Daniel was appointed GM of Pall Water in January 2019 after being Hach’s Sr Director, Product Planning & New Ventures Business Unit since December 2017. Previous to this role, Daniel was as Director, Product Planning & TOC Business Unit.

Daniel joined Hach in February 2016 bringing a variety of experiences from organizations such as PAC (a Roper Technologies company), where his held the roles of Global VP of Process Analytic and Global General Manager of Advanced Sensors. Prior to PAC, Daniel worked for Emerson Electric’s Rosemount Analytical and Micro Motion divisions, where he held roles of increasing responsibility including: Flow Sales Manager, Sales Director and Global VP of Marketing.

Daniel earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Buenos Aires Institute of Technology and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Katrina Williams, Interim Vice President, Strategy and Marketing

Interim Vice President, Strategy and Marketing

Katrina was appointed Interim Vice President, Strategy and Marketing in 2023. She most recently held the role of Global Director of Product Management where she led the team of Global Product Managers responsible for creating customer value and driving growth from commercial launch throughout the product lifecycle.

Katrina started with Trojan in 2002 and has held progressive leadership roles across the business including in the Business Unit, Operations, Marketing, and R&D.

Katrina is licensed as a Professional Engineer and holds Engineering and Environmental Science degrees from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Kevin Spehr, Vice President, Service and Aftermarket Parts (AMPs)

Vice President, Sales and Customer Experience

Kevin was appointed Vice President of Service and Product Management in January 2020. In the three years prior, he was Director of Sales & Marketing at Pall Water – a role in which he was responsible for leading sales, providing strategic direction, product development and marketing. Prior to these appointments, he held various commercial positions of increasing responsibility at Hach Canada.

Kevin’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from his early years in the capital equipment business and from sales and project management roles in the automotive industry.

He holds an Honors Business Administration – Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Natalia Yurkevich, Vice President, Human Resources

Natalia joined Trojan Technologies in October 2020 as Vice President, Human Resources. She is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition and organizational development strategies. Before joining Trojan, she was the Vice President of Human Resources at AECOM – a role that was focused on aligning talent strategies to accelerate business growth – and also held related roles of increasing responsibility at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Accenture, Foresters Financial and Philips Electronics.

Natalia has a bachelor’s degree and a postgraduate diploma in Education from Minsk State Linguistic University in Belarus and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources from Ryerson University.

Sikander Gill, Vice President, Operations

Sikander joined Trojan Technologies in April 2022 as Vice President, Operations. He is responsible for leading best in class operations processes across Trojan's global footprint. Sikander joins Trojan from Masco Canada where he held the role of Vice President of Operations and was responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution functions for the business. Prior to this he held roles of increasing responsibility with Magna International and Amazon where he led complex large-scale operations. Sikander has broad experience managing P&Ls with a rich mix of background in operations, supply chain, engineering, program management, and new product development.

Sikander holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master in Business Administration with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.

Wes From, Vice President, Research and Development

Wesley D. From, M.A.Sc., P.Eng.

Vice President, Research and Development

Wes joined Trojan in 2001 as Manager of Mechanical Engineering. He was appointed as Vice President, Engineering in 2004 and to his current role of Vice President, Research and Development in 2018.

In this role he has led the development of many industry-defining products and technologies. He is also credited for expanding Trojan’s engineering footprint from a single location to a network of development centers throughout the world. Before joining Trojan, Wes was involved in technology development for medical ultrasound and rehabilitation equipment.

He is also credited for expanding Trojan’s engineering footprint from a single location to a network of development centers throughout the world.

He is licensed as a Professional Engineer and has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in Biomedical Robotics from the University of Toronto.

Gen Izutsu Vice President, DBS

Gen Izutsu

Vice President, DBS

Gen was appointed Vice President of DBS in May of 2023. He is responsible for developing and leading the execution of DBS strategy across Trojan Technologies in the Growth, Innovation, Lean, and Leadership behaviours. Gen joined Trojan from within Danaher, where he worked in a number of progressive roles in Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and R&D, and has attended or led dozens of Lean kaizens in Europe and the Americas.

Gen holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
