LONDON, ONTARIO – Trojan Technologies, a global leader in advanced water treatment, today announced the launch of the TrojanUVFocus™, a UV disinfection platform developed specifically for municipal non-potable reuse applications. Designed to help utilities expand water reclamation and reuse programs while reducing lifecycle costs and operational complexity, the TrojanUVFocus system is built on proven technologies from previous TrojanUV® systems, trusted in more than 11,000 municipal UV installations worldwide.
Designed for reliability and ease of maintenance, the TrojanUVFocus system delivers proven performance to non-potable reuse applications ranging from 1 to 6 million gallons a day (mgd) or 3.79 to 22.71 million liters a day (mld). The purpose-built, UV platform delivers a high UV dose with fewer lamps, reducing installation and maintenance costs while ensuring efficient, effective disinfection.
Incorporating operator feedback gathered over the last decade, the TrojanUVFocus system features the same energy-efficient Solo Lamp® technology and the ActiClean® sleeve-cleaning system found in other TrojanUV flagship products. Validated in accordance with stringent Ultraviolet Disinfection Guidelines Manual for Drinking Water (IVDGM), Water Reuse published by the National Water Research Institute (NWRI), and EPA guidance per Innovative Approaches, the TrojanUVFocus system provides independently verified performance. Its patent-pending design optimizes flow through the chamber which ensures efficient dose delivery. The TrojanUVFocus system also comes equipped with Stream™ for remote monitoring of live system performance, providing confidence the system is operating as intended at all times.*
